I have rescently come accross a similar scam on a 2005 Arctic Cat F7. This is the same scam that was written by another menber. This person also said that you must be pre-approved before bidding. His e-bay handle on this scam is Nrenvns. After the bid had expired he contacted me via e-mail from a question I had asked during the bid time. He said that he would take $2,600 even and pay for shipping anywhere in the U.S. He says he has a buddy that works for DHL and can get a very low shipping price. He tells you to send the money to e-bay after e-bay contacts you. He will then ship the sled while e-bay holds the money. This person claims that after you recieve the sled, you have 7 days to inspect the snowmobile, if you like it you call direct and tell them to release the funds to him. E-bay does not work this way so please be very careful. Remember, you know what the average cost is for the item you are bidding on. If it is way low be aware.
