If someone is willing to pay for shipping theres something wrong. I bought a Honda 2005 CBR 600rr for 4000 and i almost crapped my pants. Heres how the deal went:
First on the listing the seller advised bidders to first send him an email before bidding to be put onto a preapproved buyers list or else your bid would be cancelled. So, i emailed he/she and they sent me an email saying that i want to obtain this bike for 4000 and i will take care of shipping. This is where it got good. I told him ok. Then he told me that he was going to send my info to Vehicle Purchase Protection program and that the deal was going to be through them. He said to send money to an representative through Moneygram, and that they will secure funds until i receive item. I called Ebay to see if this was legit and they told me that they dont get involved with transactions between buyer and seller. And the the motor representative wasnt even a rep. Everything looked real, all the email that he sent me from supposedly Ebay motors looked real, the invoice also looked real.
What might seem to good prolly aint. Watch out for hoax email addresses
what i recommend is to pay at local pick up dont buy from long distance where it would have to be shipped
