How to Brew Green Tea

Generally, one tea spoon of tea per 6 ounces of water should be used.

If the quality of the Green tea is unknown then it should be prepared

with 180?F to 190?F water (not boiling) and steeped 2 to 3 minutes.

However some finer qualities of tea require cooler water, and less

brewing time.

Some Guidelines:
Premium Sencha: 148?F / 1 teaspoon per 8oz / 2-3 min
Sencha: 160-170?F / 1 teaspoon per 6-8 oz / 2-3 min
Gyokuro: 148?F / 1 teaspoon per 8oz / 2-3 min
Jasmine Pearls: 180-190?F / 1 teaspoon per 8oz / 2-3 min / 3 to 4 infusions
Generic Chinese Green: 170-180 / 1 teaspoon per 6-8 oz / 2-3 min
