Making Additions To Your Undecorated Diaper Cake

It is relatively easy to make wonderful additions to your plain diaper cake. You can personalize it by wrapping a receiving blanket around the bottom layer..

This is done by laying the blanket flat underside up. Begin folding the blanket in 4 inch sections from each end twords the middle. You will end up in the middle with a long strip of folded blanket. Simply wrap the blanket around the bottom layer of the cake and secure with a decorated diaper pin or corsage pin.

You can add other items such as travel size baby lotions etc. onto the outside of the cake by using glue dots. These can be purchased at your local Walmart or Hobby store.
