When I see very high shipping fees I always think " this seller is making his or her profit on shipping". Therefore they don't pay the same listing fees and never pay the same FINAL auction fees as the seller that trys to keep fees as low for the buyer as possible.
There are many ways to check the cost of shipping by the seller or the buyer. I know sometimes we need to add some handling fees , if the item you want has a high shipping fee email and ask if it could be lowered or look for another seller that has the same or close to the same item you want.
This has always been my pet peeve and I sell on , I try to keep my shipping fees as close as possible by weighting my items and using the shipping calculator or a flat rate box. I never make my profit from shipping.
Ebay is a graet place for everyone and I love it. I just want it to be fair for the buyer as well as the seller.
