When I was young I had an original pink and brown and white Navajo rug I got for two bucks at a Thrift store. I couldn't believe my luck. But my first husband sold it, and drank it up. I have been sad about it ever since, so when I discovered real Navajo rugs here at Ebay, I went nuts, wanting so much to replace my long lost loved hand crafted Indian rug. Right after I triumphantly bought a couple of lovely fringed rugs purported to be Navajo (or Mexican?), as it turned out, they are Mexican copies, after all, and you can tell by the fringe!
